Worsley New Hall project (University of Salford, Manchester)
The aim of the Worsley New Hall project (blog) has been to collate information and increase awareness about the history of the Lancashire seat of the Earls of Ellesmere. The project is a joint venture between the University of Salford and Peel Holdings Ltd, which now owns the historic site. During the course of the project the Worsley New Hall project website has been created and the Worsley New Hall digital archive collection. They are currently compiling an annotated bibliography including archives, books and web resources, which they intend to publish.

In 2021, the Royal Horticultural Society opened the site of Worsley New Hall as their fifth garden: RHS Bridgewater
